Spider-Man creator (with Stan Lee) Died aged 90, a good innings. Very reclusive artist, refused interviews for decades. He was the original artist for Spider-Man before Jack Kirby took over

I am a big fan of his work on Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. I also like his work Captain Atom and the Blue Beetle. His stuff for the various Marvel fantasy and horror anthologies is also great. Rest In Peace.

I went to watch all the Tobey Maguire lead Spider-man films last decade at the cinemas, before they rebooted the Hollywood films. I'm a fan of Spider-man, I liked how they went to make another character to be Spider-man, Miles Morales. I think it's an amazing design for a character. RIP co-creator of Spider-man, Steve Ditko.

Until Steve actually died, I was not aware of him I am sad to say. I caught a tiny article in a paper saying he was the co-creator of Spiderman, and I was all "what, I thought that was Stan Lee" so found a documentary Jonathan Ross did "Searching for Steve Ditko" which was very interesting, Ross did get to spend 25mins with him in the end, but only with no Camera's or interview and only by literally going up to his work office un-invited and getting through the door. RIP Steve.

Steve Ditko, the co-creator of Spiderman left the comic because Stan Lee wanted to reveal Norman Osborn as the Green Goblin, where as Steve felt he should be just a nobody and that would be the bombshell! but Stan overruled him and he left the magazine to be replaced by John Romita, who was equally as good as Steve!
