I'd have been more moved if he'd read a few more score draws from my coupon. RIP Tim

No matter how much technology we have, I still always like listening to the classified roundup on the Radio on Saturdays.
RIP Tim

I recall Tim's dream result to read out was East Fife 4 Forfar 5, but it never happened.

I recall Tim's dream result to read out was East Fife 4 Forfar 5, but it never happened. It's every announcers dream to read out that score. They played Saturday past and it was mentioned, in hope, on Off The Ball, that it would happen this time, but finished 2-0 to the loons (Forfar).

I liked the fact that he always pronounced the teams full title rather than what was shown on screen.
RIP Tim.

I liked the fact that he always pronounced the teams full title rather than what was shown on screen. RIP Tim. That’s a great thing. I might be sad here, but I don’t like the way a lot of companies have officially become the abreviations like NatWest, BHS, M&S etc.
