Ray Winstone in the computer digital rendered 2007 feature movie Beowulf! Set in Denmark, where a village gets attacked, Beowulf is asked to help kill the demon which attacks the village.
The interesting side about Beowulf and maybe why it's typed as 'Beowulf' and not something like 'Biwolf' or something like that and maybe why it was worth anyone making such a movie and in such a way. Beowulf is based of one of the early surviving poems written in England in the West Saxon language, maybe why it made such sense to make it entirely computer generated and rendered and placed such production behind it to make the movie because it from a poem which explains the story and maybe why they've really made the effort to get the message out there regarding the oldest surviving text recorded in British History.
Ray Winstone voices the character Beowulf. I doubt this is what Ray Winstone really looks like,... of course it's meant to make a point about computer generated graphics of it's time.
The movie uses the same techiques as the movie, the Polar Express. I think everyone knows how much of a fun actor to work with now a days with his previous shows since Minder. It's been said that the movie directors choose Ray Winstone after his preformance in the mini-series Henry VIII. The movie also stars Angelina Jolie and Anthony Hopkins. The movie differs slighty from the peom maybe because who's stars in the movie.
The video game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and PC is the same role for Winstone. Ray Winstone voices the character Beowulf. The model of the character has been credited to someone else. There are scenes from the movie which have made it into the video game, such as the Sea Snakes getting cut and ripped open by Beowulf, so they've done everything to tie the action adventure video game to the movie to make it fit and maybe why I'm putting this together with this thread, because there's not much to talk about between the game and movie. Something now a days video games and movies could do. It is worth to say that it may have been the reason Ray Winstone got the experience and maybe the start of this viddo game career to appear in a video game by being in Beowulf, considering he went to appear in Sony's Killzone 3 later on in 2011 of the PlayStation 3, which I've made a thread on Killzone 3 here: minder.proboards.com/thread/3319/ray-winstone-killzone-3-2011
