Sad to hear that the musical legend has passed away. He was a major influence on 'The Beatles and countless other acts. He made some truly great records such as 'Ain't That a Shame', 'Blue Monday', 'I'm Walkin', 'I Want to Walk You Home', Walking to New Orleans', 'My Girl Josephine' but he will always be best known for the classic 'Blueberry Hill'.
RIP

They just had a lovely tribute to Fats on the main BBC News. What a great man he was.

One of the earliest inductees into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame and rightfully so. Rest In Peace.

Very sad, loved Fats. I remember him going AWOL during the Katrina hurricane that hit New Orleans a few years ago, they thought he'd died, but Fats survived. Cheap Trick do a fantastic live version of "Aint That A Shame", I'd post it, but not today, it's all about Fats. RIP Big Man

My abiding memory of Fats will be a smile that could light up the whole of the USA. This guy was a real trooper that not only wrote great songs, he was a first rate performer. We will never see his like again.

I just watched a clip on Youtube from 1971 of Fats Domino performing "I'm Ready" backed by The Byrds. I thought it was very good and since I'm a big fan of that era of The Byrds it was cool to see Fats Domino playing along with them.

There was a great clip of Fats on Later with Jools Holland this weekend. It showed Fats and Jools playing on a joanna in 1985 and Fats was beaming away. Lovely stuff.
