Good innings. Immortalised as the Scouse Git on Till Death Us Do Part. Cherie was always bemoaning him like she was ashamed of him. He deserved better than her. RIP Tony

Appeared in 'The Hi-Jackers' and The Professionals' 'Klansmen', all of which have been discussed on this forum. Also in urm, 'Confessions from the David Galaxy Affair' with Glynn Edwards (see Not Minder).
RIP.

RIP Tony
Big fan of Till Death Us do Part and the Confession films. Only recently read his first autobiography, which was very interesting, more the tabloid side of his life up until he was caught in that fire and everything changed. Its a good fun read, nothing to intellectual though, his later books were far more political and struggled to get into them.

I have seen him in Till Death Us Do Part episodes that were released on DVD over here and he was very good on that. I have also seen him in some of his other appearances and he seemed like a dependable actor able to work in various genres.

I found him a bit irritating in the 'Confessions....' films. It was as if he was trying too hard to play the part of a younger person.
He was forty-five going on twenty-five in those films.
Nevertheless, a good actor who was versatile.
R.I.P. Tony Booth.
