In the 1960s she was a incredibly beautiful young woman. Check out 'Performance' (1968) she looks stunning in that. So sad that drugs ruined her looks.
She was also Brian Jones' ex-girlfriend.
RIP

Agreed Ace. I was only used to seeing pics of her after the years of non stop drug use but when I saw her in 'Performance' I was astonished how beautiful she was.

I know her best from the movie Barbarella. Even in a dark wig and with her voice dubbed she was a great looking lady. I agree that it is tragic what drugs did to her. Didn't someone commit suicide in front of her years ago?

Yes, you are mostly correct pr1:
Death of Scott Cantrell In 1979, a 17-year-old boy, Scott Cantrell, shot himself in the head in Pallenberg's bed with a gun owned by Keith Richards, while at the South Salem, New York house shared by Richards and Pallenberg. The youth had been employed as a part-time groundsman at the estate and was involved in a sexual relationship with Pallenberg. Richards was in Paris recording with the Rolling Stones, but his son was at the house when the teen killed himself. Pallenberg was arrested; however, the death was ruled a suicide in 1980, despite rumours that Pallenberg and Cantrell had been playing a game of Russian roulette. The police investigation stated that Pallenberg was not on the same floor of the house at the time the fatal shot was fired.

I hadn't heard about her death. Thank you for bringing it to our attention Chris.
I also didn't know about the death of the groundsman who was employed at Keith Richards house. Tragic drama seemed to surround rock stars in those times.
R.I.P. Anita Pallenberg.
