I loved her, I know some of you probably thought she was a junkie social climber but I didn't, to me she was a free spirited fit edgy bird who was as dirty and fragile as it gets but with a heart of gold, I loved her and will miss her. it's a shame Robert Mugabe couldn't have taken her place, what a cracking piece of skirt she was and a real character. RIP Tara xx

Tara was obviously a very troubled soul and I was very sad to hear about her death. I'm sure she was also a lovely person. In her younger days, she was quite nice looking (great legs!) I think her lifestyle took a bit of a toll on her looks.
RIP Tara.

I've no idea if she had a heart of gold or not but I bet she was a laugh to party with..
RIP TPT

I didn't mind the lass at all and she was only 2 years older than me. She was well fit in her prime and so what that she didn't do what was expected of her, given half the chance most of us in that position would do the same. Enjoy life and party or have your soul destroyed by doing a job you don't really like, I know what I would choose.
RIP

Whenever I saw Tara on interviews, especially with Frank Skinner, I was always captivated by her. She had issues, but didn't bleat on about them like z-listers did. She just got on with it. She was sweet and inoffensive and came across as genuine and lovely. Nothing fake or phoney about her, well apart from her nose septum. I'll miss her. I notice her Godfather was conspicuous by his absence at her funeral.

It is indeed a sad tale. Unfortunately I remember her presenting series 2 of 'The Underdog Show" on Sky Living - she was way out of her depth there and without wanting to speak ill of those who have passed, was utterly dreadful at presenting a show. Anytime I saw her after that it was clear to me her place was clearly not ever going to be a presenter and essentially was to be famous for the lifestyle she led off camera. Clearly a lot of money spent in the wrong places and a lot of wrong choices that some of us would never have the money to take ourselves. It is a sad tale though, as like ace5150 says, when did she speak she did seem like a genuine soul.

I agree that she didn't seem as shallow as others who are 'famous for being famous'. I don't think she was 'up herself' in this respect. She also emerged prior to the era of z-listers, as it became after the Millenium.
I remember her in the mid-late 90s as a guest in such as 'TFI Friday' and shows that Reeves & Mortimer did. Possibly also 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks'.
I didn't really hear of her after this, and was surprised to hear of her death.

So young it's very sad she was a cool chick in the mid 90's and had a lot more style than the z list of today.RIP.

One of my work colleagues met TPT when she was down at St Austell filming a TV series in 2007. He said there was never a dull moment with TPT. He said she was harmless but a bit annoying. She nicked one of his signs from his restaurant and refused to give it back for 45 minutes. I can't repeat the rest of his tale but it certainly is a good one.
