So, courtesy of my friends in the CFA I suffered 1 hour and 26 minutes of this tripe this evening.
Oh my good gawd, what was Nick Day thinking appearing in this pile of utter cack? Ooh matron, it's full of sauce.
I have to say, not only is this the worst film ever to be reviewed by me here in 'Not Minder' but possibly a candidate for the worst film I have ever seen. This is an extremely poor story of a woman and her daughter who use sex to sell fake art. The story is sort of clear by the end of the film but up until that point, this so-called 'sex comedy' has absolutely nothing going for it whatsoever - nudity nudity nudity followed by stupid scenes about nothing. I am sad to say that Nick is in the buff in this film, which had zero laughs and absolutely nothing in terms of plot. Even the foreign actors have all been very badly dubbed.
Watch out for a few boat races we know Linda Marlowe (she's been in all sorts) and George Murcell from 'The Professionals', '1990' , 'Special Branch' and 'Penny Gold' all of which have threads on this forum. Anna Bergman who plays 'Penelope' was also in the 70s UK comedy 'Mind Your Language'. Also, there are one or two location shots of Hamburg.
The worst two lines - one from Nick Day "Who cares about the age of consent?" and another "Ooh, I have never flogged anyone before". Then we have Nick Day and some other characters "breaking the fourth wall" and talking to camera - dear oh lord, like the viewer really wants to be associated with this pile of manure.
0/10 - complete and utter nonsense from start to finish. The only thing good about this so-called film is the music. This is an avoid film and one I am sure Nick Day wants to forget. The only thing I got from this film was that at a place called the Cafe Keese in Hamburg it is/was customary for a woman to ask a man to dance, not the other way around - apparently this is a true story.
To summarise, this is possibly the worst film I have ever seen. To think people paid money to watch this - everyone responsible for charging money for this turkey is a candidate for hung, drawn and quartered - it is truly so awful. Nothing but an AVOID from me, it's a waste of film.

Daley & McCann are, as good as, holding hands, on the exercise yard, in the scrubs.
In that case, jno, I applaud you for taking one for the team. I didn't think that garbage 'Three for All' was ever going to be beaten as the biggest pile of poo to emanate from the UK film industry in the 1970s.
