Allo Allo ran for ten years, which is a good run. Gorden was very good in it.
RIP

Very sad news. He was of course in Minder's "Get Daley". RIP Gordon. Allo Allo was never my cup of tea, but I really like his rather eccentric performance as Wendy's put upon heavy in Get Daley. The bit when he creeps into the hospital to put the frighteners on Arthur always makes me smile.

Same for me... other than Minder, he also appeared, albeit briefly, as a syrup wearing TV news anchor Maynard Lavery in a super Last of the Suumer Wine episode titled The Last Surviving Maurice Chevalier Impression RIP Gorden...

I can remember seeing Gorden, in the stage version of 'Allo 'Allo!.
Gorden, also appeared in the film version of Porridge (1979).
R.I.P. Gorden Kaye.

I saw him in Minder recently too. Had a good part as a heavy. I would have loved seeing him in The Sweeney, The Professionals and something like The Chinese Detective. He was also in Crossroads.

I thought he was good in minder, and in the porridge feature length. But allo allo was his signature on British comedy. Rip Gordon Kaye.
