Very sad to see this talented musician pass on. Influenced many. Ironic that I Believe In Father Christmas will be played these next few weeks. Pity Greg missed out on a last royalty cheque.

That's probably my favourite Christmas song too.
RIP.

Be nice if I Believe In Father Christmas could get the Xmas number 1 slot, not least because it would spite Simon Cowell.
RIP Greg.

That's probably my favourite Christmas song too. RIP. Yes, I would agree there. I had no love for ELP but Greg's Xmas song was one of the best ever. RIP.

That's a shame. Wasn't a fan of his music but a good musician. A guy, when I started working tried to get me into prog rock, wasn't successful at all.
RIP

I'd pay a quid or two to keep Simon Cowell off number 1.
RIP Greg ... great tune.

He also played alongside one of my favourite guitarists Gary Moore.
RIP Greg. What a voice.

ELP are a bit of an acquired taste, but they had their moments. One of which was Greg Lake's ballad 'Still You Turn Me On' (1974).
I also quite like early King Crimson e.g. the album 'In The Court Of The Crimson King' (1969) in which Greg Lake played a pivotal role, leading to his membership of ELP.
RIP Greg Lake.
