Sad to report that Don passed away on October 30th. He played Dan Ericson in both seasons of LOTG. also had a major role in one episode of 'Star Trek' - 'The Galileo Seven'. He was a very good actor indeed.
Also appeared in: 'The Incredible Hulk', 'Buck Rogers in the 25th Century', 'The Bionic Woman', 'Bewitched', 'Ironside', 'Mission: Impossible', 'Daktari', etc, etc.

Sad to hear that. I liked him in LOTG and I recall seeing him in The Incredible Hulk. RIP

He was great in LOTG. Am I right in thinking he was the first black male actor to get a major role on TV? I think Nichelle Nicolls who played Lt Uhuru in Star Trek was the first female.

Am I right in thinking he was the first black male actor to get a major role on TV? Sadly not Ace. That honour fell in 1965 to Bill Cosby in 'I Spy'. I wonder what he is up to these days........

Very sorry to read this. I love Land of the Giants. It's one of the first tv shows I can remember watching when it originally aired. Don Marshall was a good, dependable actor that appeared in many different shows.. Besides what's been mentioned he also appeared a couple of times in the cop show Dragnet and the sitcom Good Times He also had a major part in the movie The Thing With Two Heads.
Rest In Peace Mr. Marshall. Thank you for the entertainment.

I remember him for his appearances on the Hulk. He played a gangland heavy, a doctor and a lynch mob member.
