And now ex Rainbow / Dio bassist Jimmy Bain has ascended to the Big Stage. At this rate all there'll be left will be Keith Richards, Macca and Brian May's hair (which seems to have a life all of its own). ultimateclassicrock.com/jimmy-bain-dies-rockers-react/ Early rumours are that he was killed by a black bear in the wilds of Utah. Which - if true - would at least be a very "rock & roll" way to go. But that may turn out to be ballcocks, time will tell I suppose.

Besides those guys, we've also got left Robert Plant, Jimmy Page who is rumoured to be working on a solo album, Ozzy Osbourne, Mick Jagger and The Man In Black himself Ritchie who is going to play some rock shows this year with a re-formed Rainbow.
Bain played on the greatest Rainbow album (Rising) and had also played with Dio.
