Chris Pratt is supposedly being considered for The Saint in a new series of films. That's about as specific the stories on the subject currently are. I hope it doesn't happen! I doubt that the character would bare much resemblance to the one Leslie Charteris created.
Watching the 2017 remake now, and it's not half bad. It was Moore's last film appearance, even though I don't think it was the last one he filmed, as it was reportedly filmed in 2013 with some reshoots and tweaks done before its release. I'm not sure if his scenes were from 2013 or added later. It was produced by him, too, and was released a few months after his death as a tribute. It would have been interesting if a full series had been commissioned. I like Ms. Dushku in this.
THE ANGEL'S EYE. I picked his episode to watch because I didn't remember it. It has a lot of familiar faces in the cast including the delectable Jane Merrow. The studio backlot city street sets fill in for Amsterdam this time. At one point Merrow is shown standing in front of what was used as John Mannering's London shop in The Baron. The story, involving a large diamond called The Angel's Eye was fairly simple but it is well paced and fun.
